April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and Kids House is doing all we can to reach out to the community and speak out about child abuse. This event will kick off a month long prevention effort with the automotive industry of Seminole County.

Saturday, May 17 2008 Field of Dreams Gala
Chaired by Marie Bernstein, this promises to be a premier fundraising event in Seminole County with plans for great food, live and silent actions, live entertainment and dancing. __________________________________________________________________________
April 28 Kids House LPGA Pro Am at Red Tail

June 2008 2nd Annual Ice Cream Social @ Kids House

August 2008 Annual Back to School Splash Party @ Oviedo Aquatic Facility

One of our most anticipated events each year. The party affords children the chance to enjoy the pool, crafts, games, rock climbing wall and food. Most importantly, children leave the party with all the school supplies they will need to begin the school year right. Saturday, October 2008 Annual Community Safety Fair @ Sanford Civic Center

The Fair gives community agencies an opportunity to connect with families and educate our community about important health and safety issues. This year’s event will include a costume contest for the children with terrific prizes from Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and others. It also gives local service providers an opportunity to share their programs with children and families. __________________________________________________________________________
November 2008 6th Promise to Protect Breakfast
7:30am – 9:00am
The Promise to Protect Breakfast is Kids House’s largest fundraiser. In 2007, nearly 350 guests attended, pledged their support and helped raise $300,000. October 2008 6th Annual Seminole County Child Protection Conference
The Child Protection Conference, hosted by Kids House, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office and CBC of Seminole offers training for all child protection professionals. In 2007, over 250 professionals from the fields of law enforcement, medical, mental health, advocacy, prevention, investigation, law, and community support attend the conference. Saturday, December 2008 Kids House Holiday Party @ SCC Student Center

Over 250 children attend the party each year to play games, make crafts, visit with Santa and enjoy the holiday season. The Party is a wonderful opportunity to interact with the children Kids House has served. In 2006, $30,000 in toys and gifts purchased and donated to Kids House were distributed to our children. The Pat Clarke Celebrity Golf Classic has benefited Kids House since 2006. The Title Sponsor is typically Starwood Vacation Ownership. Hole Sponsorships are available for $1,000 and include a foursome, hole sponsorship, company logo and link to company website on tournament site and awards luncheon passes. We estimate this event will raise $30,000 for Kids House.
